LOTE makes the Republic of Consciousness Prize Shortlist!
#Twentyin2020 author Shola von Reinhold's LOTE has now been shortlisted for the RoC Prize. This is the first time a non-binary person has made the shortlist and we couldn't be more proud.
Novelist and prize judge Guy Gunaratne said LOTE "Reaffirms pleasure at the heart of the novel... rich with intrigue and suspense". The other titles on the shortlist are A Ghost in the Throat by Doireann Ní Ghríofa (Tramp Press), Men and Apparitions by Lynne Tillman (Peninsula Press), The Mermaid of Black Conch by Monique Roffey (Peepal Tree Press) and A Musical Offering by Luis Sagasti, tr. Fionn Petch (Charco Press).
Congratulations to all the other shortlisted author's and publishers, the Republic of Consciousness are expected to announce the winner in mid-May.
